I've got a ticket to wonderland =]

The boots I had my brother order me came in today, they look purple in this picture but they're really dark brown. I like them alot.

I actually took pictures in the pants I made today but I decided I'm not going to post them until before or after I see Alice in Wonderland because thats what I'm going to wear when I go see it.

I haven't really seen any movies right after they've come out. The closest I've seen is over the summer when I went and saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince but that was still about two weeks after the movie came out. I went and pre ordered my tickets to the midnight showing on March 5th (technicly the 4th) I'm going to bring a friend with me so I bought two. I can't help but wonder how busy it will actually be since thats a school night, I'm sure it will still be busy. I'm really excited, I'm kind of going to dress up. I'm probably going to see it with my friend Anna it just depends on if she can skip school the next day or not. I watched the London premier on facebook earlyer but I kind of watched it on and off. I really hope its a good movie, it looks really good and I just hope it doesn't dissapoint. I've noticed when it comes to the Alice in Wonderland movies on my marathon I almost always love them or dislike them. I mainly dislike ones that are sort of boring. I'm really excited =)

Alice through the Looking Glass (1998)

Alice through the Looking Glass was a low buget adaptation of Through the Looking Glass made in 1998. I thought it was beautiful and wouldn't have had any idea it was low budget other than that people kept saying it was made with a low budget. The scenes were bright and I thought the characters where done really well. I never actually finished reading Through the Looking Glass so I can't really say how acruate it was to the book but it seemed acurate to me. It kind of reminded me of the Wizard of Oz in some ways like how Alice was actually played by an adult (Kate Beckinsale) and how colorful everything was. The only thing I didn't really understand was why her hair style changed in almost every scene, I guess it just kept it interesting.
It was like a big game of chess and each square had different characters in them like Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Humpty Dumpty, The White Night and The Wasp in The Wig. Then if Alice made it to the final square she got to become a queen.

I really enjoyed this film. Its become my 2nd favorite Alice in Wonderland themed film (the first being the SyFy's Alice) and I would definitely recommend it. Its on youtube if you want to check it out.

New Coat in the snow

Today was pretty uneventful the most I did was go to Kmart to look at couches and futon.
I really want to replace my bed, I've had like this obsession for a long time with having as much space in my room as possible. I have a medium sized room but I don't know its like I've just always wanted a bigger one so one example is I found a way to organize my jeans in my closet so I could get the dresser taken out of my room and a futon would take up less room then my bed.
Anyway there isn't much else to talk about.

Fail Weekend

This weekend was pretty fail other than Friday. It wasn't that anything bad happened except that it snowed Friday night and all day Saturday and by Saturday evening it wasn't really safe to drive. I don't have much to say about this weekend except that I finally got a new coat. I'll try to take some pictures in it tomorrow.
My room smells like caramel and coffee right now because I'm burning a candle. I basically watched Xena and Doctor Who all weekend. On friday I went to the mall and hung out with Angelica, K'si, Percy, Marlon and Corbien. Then I went and hung out with Marlon and Corbien and then this snow storm came.
I went to my grandma's today to sew, we are almost done with the pants she's teaching me to make. I can't wait to wear them.
Ok so the due to my lack of things to talk about I've got an idea. Alice in Wonderland is coming out in twelve days, so everyday for the next 12 days I'll be writing reviews on Alice related things (movies, art, The Almost Alice albumn, etc.) probably mainly various movies though.
Tonight I'm going to start with the origanal Walt Disney's Alice in Wonderland.

Sometimes I go whole days listening, bored, half sleep. I won't say anything that's worth a thing to me.

I actually like to be tired. I can't really explain why. I like putting my head on the pillow and falling fast asleep. Though I prefer my tiredness to be caused by actually doing something like doing something fun with friends or for example when I went to Rock the Light (a concert) that went from 1 to about midnight for two days and was in another city (we went, came back home, went,) and I couldn't even stay awake for the car ride from church to my friends house, she couldn't either. Lately its just been caused by my very messed up sleep schedual (example: me blogging right now at almost 1 in the morning) I really need to get on a better sleeping pattern you know go to bed earlier get up earlier. That was one of my new years resolutions and for a while I was actaully doing kind of good. I get up at almost 11 am. I think I'll do better when spring starts because I love being outside on nice mornings. I actually spend a good deal of time outside almost everyday as long as its above freezing and not raining, not because I have to but because I love being outside and I'm not going to let the cold stop me. I love nature and observing it like looking at trees and trying to notice something I didn't notice before like I don't know the pattern on the bark maybe and how it goes. I just enjoy observing things. I read this book once that talked about inner peace and being happy and it talked about enjoying little things like looking at a tree and how good a job its doing of being a tree. It sounded alot better how the book worded it but anyway. I really can't wait for spring, I'm building this collection of skirts and dresses. I still wear them even though its winter I just think they'll look better against green grass and forest rather than snow and mud. I can't wait to go on walks in the forest trails and take pictures again. I like my new photostudio set but I feel like there is no better background then nature. But yeah I really do need to sleep better. I really don't like sleeping, I always feel like its a waste of time but I guess we have to sleep to live so.....
Today was actually really nice outside, it wasn't to cold so I spent most of my day outside. Then I went in and got ready to go to my granny's. I think I'm finally getting curling my hair with a flat iron down:

I've also been experimenting with lipsticks and lip gloss. Anyone that knows me knows I never wear lip gloss or lipstick but I wear alot of chapstick. I've never really understood lipgloss because I don't really understand why people want shiny lips, it just seems weird to me plus I always think it feels uncomfterable and sticky. Maybe thats just me. I understand lipstick alot more though I still think its sort of uncomfterable so I blot it alot after I apply it. I have this pinkish red color so I wore it today. I actually have alot of lipsticks for someone who never wears lipstick.
Today I asked my granny how old Ozwald is (the big silver owl necklace) and she said it was her's when she was in her twentys meaning its over sixty years old. This amazes me when I look at it. I imagine how much history its been through (even though it probably spent a good deal of its years in her jewelry box) its was here before the internet.
Here are some pictures I took yesterday with my new camera, I don't really like my new camera yet but I think that has more to do with the fact its just going to take alot of getting used to and figuring out than that its actually a bad camera. I also found out it takes a diffrent kind if memory card than I own so I need to buy a new one soon.

Its Wensday 1:04 AM and I am so tired.
I just finished re cleaning my room, fun? not really but after a while it gets necessary.
This blog might be a little shorter than I origanally hoped because I now have a headache and would love to crawl into bed and sleep, but I feel like "hey I've written everyday since I signed up" so I will write anyway. I'm not saying I plan to blog everyday but I actually did some stuff today.
Shortly after I woke up my parents and I went to my granny's. I wore the new owl necklace I got on Saturday and my granny noticed it and said she had a few necklaces that looked like owls that I could have.

I really like them, the one in the middle is my favorite its about the size of my hand. I think I'll name it Ozwald. She also gave me the necklace to the left, its really old and it was hand painted by a friend of hers. I think they'll all get some pretty good use.

Around 7 I went to the mall with my friend Angelica, it was a pretty last minute desision but I was able to go. She bought two knit hats one in electric blue and one in black. I want to go buy some before the sale is over. I forgot my money. She also got me a chocker, nail polish and a necklace that says love in this buy ten items for ten dollars deal because she could only find seven items she liked. We didn't stay all that long but we had fun.

Then I started cleaning. Its so tiring but worth it, whenever my room is clean I feel so much more calm. I just lay on the floor and read. I really need to finish reading all my library books so I can take them back.

I'm going to go to bed now, I'm to tired. Goodnight.

An entry in which plans to make a giant owl are made

Today was Monday, not allot happens on weekdays for me but I'll still try to write. My dreams are becoming very strange its like anymore they always involve people I see around but don't really know, it makes me feel like a creeper when I wake up.
I got up and went to the store. Then we went to office max and I ordered a new camera to replace my broken one, its an Olympus X-42. I don't know much about it but it had very similar settings to my broken one and was affordable.
I think may be getting an ear infection because my ears are hurting pretty bad =[
This is the first winter where I haven't got sick yet.
I'm listening to my recommendation station on last.fm and a song called Little Bird by Goldfrapp just came on, it just started but it sounds really pretty. sorry getting off topic.
This time last year I was really sick, I remember because when I went to the circus my nose kept running and burning but I really wanted to go. Going even though I was sick made me feel really young again, its coming again in a few weeks and I want to go again.
I went to my grandma's around two and scanned some papers. Her fat but adorable cat Lucky was being very loving today, then we went upstairs for my sewing lesson. She's been teaching me to sew since early fall. We made a skirt in October/November and in December we started the pair of pants we were working on today. Its a pair of white and black vertical striped pants, we out the waste band on today and we'll be bringing them in and hemming the bottoms on Wednesday and then they'll be done. I've learned allot about sewing in the last couple months and have been learning allot about fashion lately so I'm very excited about learning to sew. Its also brought my grandma and I allot closer I think which is nice.
Then at five I got Chinese food with my mom and ran into Jensen and her boyfriend. I got a really horrible fortune cookie today, it was already broken and the fortune was ripped in three places. The fortune was also a lie it said "it tastes sweet," it tasted like a fancy looking cracker to me. It was the first fortune I didn't save in a long time.
I asked my brother to order this pair of moccasin boots of eBay, they're really cute. I'm not sure if he'll get the message in time though, if he doesn't the user will probably put them up again since they have no other bids.
I'm listening to Goldfrapp’s album Seventh Tree I think its nice. The other thing I'm really liking about Goldfrapp’s pictures.

The last two pictures make me want to go make a giant owl out of paper mache. or a giant owl mask and wings, that would probably be better. I would use it in so many pictures. I think this desire just became serious, like going on my to do this week list. Though I realize that is probably not made out of paper mache and that I should probably make it out of something other than paper mache too. I imagine its allot of wires and feathers and maybe cloth. The mask might be similar to paper mache though.

I think I'm going to go make a list of materials and research "how to make a giant owl" on the internet. Wish me luck! =)

Valentines days went allot better than I expected. I slept well except when I randomly woke up to the sound of two loud very angry cats, I peaked through the blinds to my window and they were right there just about a few feet away from my window. A black cat and a grey cat standing there staring at each other like statues but making these horrible loud cries. I banged on my window to try to get there attention but they didn't pay attention. It must of been early morning because there was just a little bit of light, that light just before sun rise. They woke up my mom shortly after and she opened the front door and they ran away, then I went back to sleep. It feels almost like a dream now.

I got back up around nine almost ten and got dressed, I still can't figure out how to curl my hair. Then we went by my granny's house and gave her her valentines day card and I decided to give her the candle I bought yesterday, I can always buy another. She liked allot.

Then we hit the highway, it was snowing. The weather was really strange today because as we drove it started off snowing lightly, then so heavily you could barely see anything, then it stopped switching seconds and got sunny and then it started again. It took about an hour and a half to get to Kansas City, I listened to my zune and read "I'll be your mirror."

We got to Oak park mall around 1:30. That mall is so much better than the one in my town. It has almost all the stores ours has plus about twice as many. So many of the stores are so expensive though. I'm really careful about my money. I was mainly excited about going to Forever 21, the mall where I live doesn't have one. I wish it did, I don't think I'd shop anywhere else if it did. I should really just start ordering all my clothes off there website now that I think about it. I got so many compliments while I was there, it really surprised me, I wasn't really very happy with how I looked today. I don't usually get compliments on how I dress when I go out in my town other than by people I know.
I walked around Forever 21 for a really long time, I ended up buying a floral printed skirt. Its got buttons going up the front and I'm not really sure how I feel about that yet.

I went to charlotte russe and they had the owl necklace the store in my town had run out of so I bought it. Jensen and I counted and the Charlotte Russe in our town has eight different owl necklaces (not including the one I bought) I want to collect all of them. I'm also trying to collect all the merchandise for the new Alice in Wonderland movie. There were so many more stores that sold alice related stuff than in my town; Hot topic (our sells it to there’s just has more), The Disney Store, there claries has Alice in Wonderland stuff (why doesn't ours?!) Alice in Wonderland is such an inspiration to me in so much that I do, clothes, art, drawings, and photography. I reread the book recently. I cant wait to see the movie. I always hear people saying how "creepy" and "weird" and "horrible" people think Johnny Depp looks in this movie I think he looks amazing. Probably because I've always liked the mad hatter. The ending of Alice (the movie on Syfy) made me really happy.

Anyways, then we had some lunch in the food court. To be honest not much else happened after that, we just walked around and went into to different stores but I couldn't afford most things. Oh, I went into Sephora and looked at the Alice in Wonderland set. It filed me with envy, it was beautiful but way out of my price range. I buy most of my make up at drug stores.
I discovered something I really want but haven't been able to find at a decent price: moccasin boots. I saw a pair at journeys but they were $79 D=
Then around five we left the mall and went to this restraunt called Winsteads. Its a 50s themed resraunt. I got a banana split but they were out of bananas, the waitress said no one wanted to go to the store and buy any because of the weather. I don't mind though, I usually don't eat the bananas anyway. It was pretty deserted in there.
Then we got back on the high way, it was dark so I couldn't read during the car ride so I ended up sleeping most of it. When we got back into town we went to my brother and sister-in-law's house and gave Alec his valentine present. He was really happy with it, he kept pushing the button and dancing to the Thomas theme. He showed us his train set and connected it. Then we came home.
I feel really groggy from sleeping in the car ride, me and naps don't get along very well I always feel kind of sick after them. I'm going to go eat some chocolate truffles and try to get some real sleep.

Pre Valentines Day Blues

It started off pretty crappy because the moment I woke up I was told that I couldn't get the same camera that I had because it was discontinued. I'll have to settle for the update that has half of the zoom abilities. Its the day before valentines day and all my friends are bussy. I put together a nice outfit only to find out I had nowhere to go and no one was even going to see it. It seems like my friends are almost always to bussy to hang out anymore. Jensen's really the only person I've been spending time with lately. When I'm sad or depressed I never tell anyone except maybe my parents, I don't tell my friends, I'll try to hide it. I'm not the kind of person to post status updates on facebook or tweet about it. I don't think I've ever told my friends that I'm sad or depressed. I think its mainly because I'm really afraid of seeming annoying, thats why I'm so shy too. My friends tell me when they're sad or depressed or upset though sometimes they don't tell me in the nicest of ways. I always try the best I can to help but sometimes I can't. Sometimes I feel like people think I'm happy all the time, this is not the case. I try very hard to be as optimistic as I can which usually feels like it makes life easier but sometimes it has its bad effects too. Like when something bad happens I'll just push it to the back of my mind and not think about it but its still there and eventually they all pile up and then when it gets to be to many they all come out at once. I'll cry on and off for days about a combination of things that happened yesterday and months ago. It's probably not healthy now that I think about it.
One thing thats bothering me right now (and half of the world too I know) is that tomorrows valentines day and I'm single. Usually I'm ok with being single its just the last couple months I've just hated it. I feel like there isn't anyone in this town for me. Its like all the guys I watch people date come in two varietys, 1. they are extremely clingy and controlling and 2. they cheat. I know there are probably guys that aren't like that here but I haven't met them.
I liked someone but I think its over and it just didn't work out. It never went anywhere and then it just died. Sometimes I hate myself because I think I still like this person.
Going to online school is ok sometimes but it gets really lonely. I started taking school online because I had a really horrible experience in 8th grade, there were alot of rumors about me and I felt like they would just carry over to high school so I decided to take a break. I'm in 10th grade now and I'm going back to public school next year because I want to experiance things like a prom and graduation. I can't wait.
This has just become a long depressing rant, I'll talk about something else now.
I went to my Grannys today with my parents and we went to the store with her.

I looked at haircolor while I was there I think its time for the blonde to go, I've been dyeing my hair blonde for a little over a year now and while I love it, it takes to much work. Also I get it done at a salon because my mom doesn't want me to do it myself, she's afraid it will turn out really yellow. It costs alot where I get it done so I can't get it done very often and my roots get really long. Pluss I don't really enjoy the process of getting my hair bleached, Its itchy and the smell makes me feel like I've got a cold. I think I'm going to go with a redbrown color or like a dark red.

I was looking at this color, I like it. I probably won't buy a dye myself though. I'll probably get it done at the salon the first time and then touch it up with a box dye.

I'm a little afraid of the change, leaving the blonde but I can always go back I guess. My natural hair color is a very dark brown so my roots are always really obvious vs. the light blonde. My eyebrows also always bother me because there so dark.

Then we went back to my Grannys and I took some pictures with my phone while I was there. I like taking pictures of her house, its always seemed so interesting to me. She has such interesting things, like in her living room there is a huge cabinet holding her salt and peper shaker collection. She stopped collecting them when I was little but there are so many you can always find something you didn't pay attention to before.

Then my parents and I went out to eat for valentines day, we went to Outback Stake house. I'm not a vegitarian, I've always wanted to be one though. I got pasta. I like there blooming onions and the bread they give out. We were there for a long time because it was packed, all the restraunts in our town were.

Then we went to Toys R Us to get a valentines gift for my 3 year old nephew Alec, he said he wanted the "Thomas train that fixes Thomas" he just kept saying that. But when we got to the train section we discovered that there were alot of diffrent Thomas the Train trains. There was a man in the section with his child who looked like he was Alec's age so my mom asked him if he knew who the train who fixed Thomas was and he said he did and that he had seen that movie so many times but couldn't remember the name, his little boy said "I don't know." Then we called my brother and found out his other grandma had already bought him that train so we got him a little train peice that makes music.

Then we went to the store and I was walking down an isle and there was a fortune cookie just laying on the ground, it was still in the plasic un opened though the cookie was smashed. I took the fortune out and left the smashed cookie behind, the fortune said "Your Dearest Dream is Coming True" I hope its right. I hope that fortune counts towards me and not the person who left it on the ground and didn't even bother to open it. I hope it was fate. I bought a candle that was in a jar with little fake sprinkles on the top that smelled like strawberry cupcakes.

And then I came home and started righting this. This is insanely long I know.

I'm going out of town to this really big mall with my parents tomorrow. I hope I can have a fun time and shake this horrible feeling I've had today. And I really hope that fortune comes true.

Sushi, Coffee and Cutting People

(This part is smaller because its less interesting, the title has more to do with the rest)

I barely slept at all last night.

My camera broke yesterday evening due to a horrible tripod accident =[

but luckily my parents got the year warranty except we couldn't find it so my dad said he'd keep looking for it and it was almost midnight and I was very tired and also very depressed so I decided to go to bed. Except I couldn't sleep, I just tossed and turned and I could hear my dad moving around upstairs which I knew ment he still hadn't found it which just made me feel really stressed.

I finally fell asleep at 2.

Then I woke up at 6. Not because I had to get up at six, you see I take school online so that means I can get up a little later than most people. So I layed in bed and watched TV.

I was just randomly flipping through the channels so I ended up watching the video for Rob Thomas' song "Someday" on vh1 but then a rap video came on, We The Kings on a game show called Silent Library on MTV which was interesting and Sponge bob. But then Nick Jr. started and the backyardagains came on and I don't know what it is about that show but whenever I end up watching it and I'm sick or couldn't sleep I always end up falling asleep. Then I woke up again at nine and got up.

We finally found the warranty around noon. There going to send me a new camera and it will take about a week.

I really need to get a better tripod, the one I have tips over really easily.

My mom didn't sleep well either so we weren't really getting much done so we decided to go somewhere and get a shake.

I wore my thick glasses, The Beatles T-shirt and my vest. This one girl kept staring at me. My mom told me that when someone stares at me I should pull out my phone and take a picture of them, then maybe they'd go away.

My friend Jensen picked me up at 5:30 (she was going to pick me up at 5 but I asked for 30 minutes so I could finish her late birthday card)

Went to Dillions and they have a sushi bar and she wanted to try some and neither of us had sushi before.

She tried a piece first and liked it. While I was getting a drink she tried the wasabi, I came back and sat down and she told me NOT to eat it. So I didn't. I tried some sushi, I didn't really like it myself. It wasn't horrible or anything it just wasn't something I wanted to eat.

Then we walked to this pet store that was a few stores down from Dillions and looked at the animals. There was a hamster there that would run on his wheel on command. He would run on it for about three seconds then run around his cage and get back on the wheel. There is this rabbit I really want there, it an albino, long furred rabbit and its so cute. It reminds me of the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland.

Then we went to a cafe next to the pet shop. I got a white mocha latté. We sat on a couch in the corner. It always takes coffee so long to cool. They served it in a really fancy glass mug that looked like it should be holding some nice hot butter beer at hogsmead or something It tasted amazing once it was finally cool enough to drink.

Me: (after taking a big drink) whoa I just felt like this warmness going through my chest

Jensen: uh is that a good thing?

Me: I think, I guess if I die in a few seconds we'll know

Jensen: (I don't remember what she said)

Me: If I die you should brake this fancy glass, go to the employees and cut them with it. Avenge me if I die.

Then we went to the mall. We colored in Old Navy. There were some children on the other side laughing at us because we were coloring. Do you remember being little and all you wanted to do was grow up? I wish I would of played more so I'm making up for it. I drew a picture of Oliver and then gave it to my friend K'si because I didn't feel like carrying it plus I hadn't given her a picture of Oliver yet.

There is this artists who has a little stand were he sells paintings at the mall. He always wears a gray turtle neck, I don't know why. He's apparently leaving after today. I wonder why, his paintings were nice. He painted pictures of The Beatles, Lady Gaga, Marilyn Manson, Taylor Swift and Rob Zombie and other famous people. I always liked how in his set up he had Rob Zombie and Taylor Swift next to each other. Jensen and I attempted to write a haiku for him
